I'm calling for the installation of a pedestrian crossing outside Lidl on Lichfield Street in Hanley. I have received a number of letters from concerned residents who have said that the absence of a pedestrian crossing is creating significant challenges when trying to cross the road to access Lidl's or return home from the shop, especially with vehicles speeding along this stretch of road.
I will be writing to the City Council, urging them to prioritise the installation of a pedestrian crossing. However, the success of the campaign depends on your support. Join me in urging them to take the necessary measures to install a pedestrian crossing on Lichfield Street and make our street safer for everyone.
