With a very heavy heart, I submitted a letter of no confidence to the 1922 committee two months ago. I think it should now be clear to everyone that the Prime Minister must go.
I am delighted to have won the Patchwork Foundation Newcomer MP of the Year Award this evening. My motto is "Putting People before Politics" and that's why this award is an honour that I will treasure forever.
