It was great to visit Stoke on Trent College today to join the students in planting a tree as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy. It’s a fantastic way of marking Her Majesty’s service to our country and creating a lasting legacy for the future.
Whilst at the college, I had the opportunity to chat with the college’s Public Service students and Foundation learners about their plans for the future. I was very pleased to hear about the college’s commitment to sustainability and I am glad to be working with them for my national food summit which will be held in Stoke-on-Trent in September.
