BBC News: "Police asked by Stoke-on-Trent City Council to probe roadblock removal"

"I can fully understand residents’ frustrations at the continued closure of Boatman Drive and the misery it is causing them being denied vehicular access to their property.

I will continue to fight for help at government level as well as a lasting solution locally. The residents are at the end of their tether. All they are asking for is access to their homes. The Council need to explain to them how that is to be made possible."
