Thank you to BBC Radio Stoke for allowing me to speak on air yesterday during the campaign at Walleys Quarry.
I'm calling on the chief executive of the Environment Agency to come down to Walleys Quarry and smell the stink for himself.
The Environment Agency has been quite slow I think. Until they find out what’s causing it they shouldn’t be taking more waste in.
The Environment Agency and the environment secretary are aware of it. Clean air is a basic human right and we have to make sure that the solution is found.
It’s vital to keep shouting the message that this is a public health emergency and that we demand more action to provide a solution and accountability.
