Jo Gideon MP is disappointed at new road closure notice at Boatman Drive

Jo at Boatman Drive

I'm disappointed to hear the Council have issued a new temporary road closure notice at Boatman Drive in Etruria, which could last a further 18 months.

This is even more concerning following the incident last week where paramedics attending a medical emergency blocked the entrance to the main car park as they were unaware of the road closure.

I will continue to raise the issue of sinkholes and subsidence in Stoke-on-Trent at every opportunity with Ministers and parliamentary colleagues until a solution is reached.

The sinkhole in Boatman Drive, Etruria, means residents in the street, along with Boatman Walk and Waterlily Close, have no vehicular access to their homes.
