I met with local residents on Seaford Street, Shelton on Saturday after being made aware of a developing sinkhole on their street which they reported to Stoke-on-Trent City Council in June.
I could see the hole was deep and pipes are exposed so something is certainly happening underneath the road. I will be writing to Stoke-on-Trent City Council to ask them to carry out repairs urgently before it develops into a larger sinkhole.
