This afternoon I have written to the Home Secretary following confirmation that a second hotel in Hanley has been taken on by the Home Office to accommodate asylum seekers.
I have invited her to come to my constituency of Stoke-on-Trent Central to meet with myself, representatives from Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the two other Stoke-on-Trent Members of Parliament to listen to our concerns about the issues and to engage constructively with us to find alternative solutions.
