I had the pleasure of recently meeting actress Rosamund Pike, who serves as an ambassador for the Mines Advisory Group (MAG), to discuss her crucial role and the significant support the United Kingdom provides in landmine clearance.
I was fortunate enough to gain firsthand experience of the demanding task of mine clearance during my visit to Lebanon with the Mine Advisory Group last year. This experience allowed me to witness the dedicated efforts exerted by MAG in clearing various types of mines, including cluster munitions that have been prohibited for over a decade.
