I visited Boatman Drive to see if the investigation works where specialist engineers have been drilling in an attempt to understand what has caused the subsidence had finished.
Whilst there, I met a number of residents who spoke to me about the issues the road closure has caused them over the last two years and the affect its having on their health and their properties.
I am pleased exploratory works are taking place to find out what's going on under the road and I will continue to fight for action at government level and locally until we have a solution to this serious public safety issue.
