Visit to Grove Academy to play Football
I was pleased to visit Grove Academy yesterday to take part in a football match with their girl's football team as part of the FA’s #LetGirlsPlay Biggest Ever Football Campaign to provide equal access to football for every girl in schools.
I had a great time and even scored a goal. It was really wonderful to see the enthusiasm from the girls taking part and they said they love taking part in the football team and a majority of them want to become professional footballers in the future.
