I was delighted to welcome the Food Standards Agency to my constituency last week for a visit to Premier Foods. It was a truly fascinating day as we had the opportunity to tour the factory and witness the production of the famous Cherry Bakewell right here in Stoke-on-Trent Central.
We also engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the major challenges faced by the food industry. It was fantastic to hear about the impressive solutions that Premier Foods has implemented to overcome these obstacles.
