Stoke-on-Trent Central comes joint 16th with 18 activities which took place during UK Parliament Week 2020.
I was delighted to receive a certificate of achievement for Stoke-on-Trent Central highlighting the events held across the constituency during UK Parliament Week 2020.
Given that the events were held during such a difficult period with Coronavirus restrictions in place, I was delighted that we were able to hold more events during the pandemic than in the previous year.
Since the first UK Parliament Week was held, over 3.6 million people have taken part. UK Parliament Week aims to help people to engage with democracy and aims to make Parliament more accessible & relevant.
This year's UK Parliament Week will be held 1st-7th November 2021 and I look forward to joining in with events across Stoke-on-Trent Central - if your organisation would like to be involved or hold an event, please do contact my office who will be able to offer further information.
