I was pleased to speak in the Westminster Hall debate on careers advice in schools and raise the importance that preparing students for the world of work must be a key element in this Government’s levelling up agenda.
Stoke-on-Trent is leading the way as one of 20 areas taking part in the Government’s Careers Hubs programme. It is fantastic to see the cluster of 20 secondary schools and colleges working together with partners in the business, public, education, and voluntary sectors to deliver and implement the Gatsby benchmarks and improve careers outcomes for young people.
