It was great to visit Danny W Poole & Sons to meet with the business owner, Danny to learn about their business in Stoke-on-Trent and hear about some of the issues facing the haulage industry which I will be taking forward.
I had a look in one of their new lorries which are having all the mod cons added to make life in the cab nicer for the drivers, with a comfy bed, tv, aircon, etc.
I also had a look at the stunning trailers that are travelling across the UK and mainland Europe, promoting the city and showing our museums, theatres, and attractions in Stoke-on-Trent.
