Bread In Common - Climate Cafe

I recently visited Bread in Common for their climate cafe event which aims to provide an open, inclusive space for people of all ages to get involved in sharing ideas about how to live more sustainably.

I had a great time speaking with local residents there and having a look at all the things on offer. The cafe is serving a pay what you feel meal using surplus food from local supermarkets, there were people making bird feeders, a clothes/books swap, and a lady cooking food using plant-based ingredients.

There was also a chatter and natter table for customers who were happy for other customers to join them for a chat and it's been really exciting to hear people’s ideas or concerns.
