Boatman Drive Sinkhole Update

In March investigation works which Stoke-on-Trent City Council instructed to take place with specialist engineers took place at the Boatman Drive sinkhole where they drilled into the road in an attempt to understand what has caused the subsidence.

It's the beginning of July and sadly the residents and I still haven't heard back from the council about the investigation that they conducted. We were due to hear back initially by the end of April and then by the end of May.

I am continuing to chase the council to get a copy of those results and I will continue to fight for action at government level and locally until we have a solution to this serious public safety issue and the road reopened for local residents.
