This afternoon I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming constituents from Stoke-on-Trent Central and students from Birches Head Academy to parliament alongside Jack Brereton MP who had constituents from Stoke South join us on our joint coach trip to London where constituents had time to explore the city before a tour of the Palace of Westminster.
They were given a full tour of the palace and were able to see the Houses of Parliament and learn more about the inner workings of parliament and our democracy.
Jack and I also hosted a Q&A session where everyone asked some fantastic questions and it was wonderful to be able to share my experience as an MP and the work I do to represent Stoke-on-Trent Central in parliament.
It was lovely to see Birches Head Academy students join us on the coach trip as it is always brilliant to see our younger generation engaging in the political system and learning the way our democracy works.
To finish the trip off I think the highlight for some was being caught on Sky News in Central Lobby.
