I was pleased to visit the Smithfield Job Centre yesterday and see first-hand the wonderful work taking place there to get people into work and training.
I'm struck when I visit local businesses, just how many job opportunities there are in Stoke-on-Trent and how employers are struggling to fill them so I was very glad to hear about the work the Job Centre is doing with local employers to get people into work.
Thank you to the centre’s dedicated staff for the warm welcome and for the work they do to help jobseekers no matter their circumstances towards new work and upskilling opportunities.
